The Lightning system powertrain is designed for high-performance, sports and super-electric motorcycles. Through complex designs and multi-speed mode tuning, it provides thunderous power-responsiveness and lightning-fast speeds. Choosing battery life or high performance is not a necessity for this drive system. Both are delivered to the rider on highways or urban roads.
The drive system of LE01 represents power and range capacities. 70kW of power and peak speeds of 12000rpm drive the 220kg weight of the drivetrain without losing any of the 30% grade climbing and 300km range capabilities. Using a battery developed with a CAN communication protocol and 1125N.m of rear wheel torque, this powertrain can reach 100km/h in only 3s.
Our Lightning system has been developed from pioneering research in our HQ laboratories and is designed to perfection. Here’s our electric motorcycle solution:
High-performance, permanent magnet synchronous motor, specifically developed for speed and track conditions. The weight is counter-balanced by a 70kW peak power, peak speeds of 12000rpm and rear wheel torque of 1125N.m. Constructed from laboratory tested materials and engineered for longevity against high-heats and water participation.
High-rate 21700 cell battery equipped with intelligent Battery Management System (BMS). 6 major protection functions, 4 temperature sensors and CAN communication protocol ensures high power load capacity and a recharge range of 300km. Size and weights are dependent on custom designs, each with 144V output and 18720Wh of energy.
Independently researched and developed vehicle-grade DSP processor. Software is based upon AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System Architecture) with a layered architecture, real-time monitoring of vehicle status and a 5th generation MOSFET power core with a peak phase current of 320A. Compact with control delivery.
