Our partnership with motorcycle producer MECR is a great example of our cutting-edge solutions to the motorcycle trade and sustainable mobility. We collaborated with MECR by developing our Storm FE01 powertrain to perfectly complement its MECR-X off-road electric motorcycle to unleash exceptional performance. 

T&D’s work with partner MECR Technology

Founded in 2014, MECR Technology is a motorcycle manufacturer from Guangdong, China, that creates a range of electric and non-electric transportation including high-speed electric motorcycles. 

T&D worked closely with MECR to seamlessly customize its drive system to match the desired requirements for MECR’s dirt bike. MECR product developers worked closely with our engineers and unique algorithm service to identify the ideal components needed for their MECR-X motorcycle project. This led the team to identify Storm FE01 as the complete powertrain that would work best to deliver powerful performance consistently and efficiently for the electric motorbike MECR-X.

The MECR-X electric motorcycle is a compact, lightweight ride that offers phenomenal agility and accurate control to fiercely excel on trails and complex terrain. Its sturdy design is equipped with an aluminum forged frame, powerful suspension system and grippy tires. 

Our Storm powertrain series brings outstanding power and performance for e-motorbikes to challenge limitations, and truly shine off the beaten track. Our vigorous yet lightweight Storm FE01 drivetrain system works harmoniously with the MECR-X motorbike, boosting it with plenty of high energy and the magnificent power needed for off-road riding, including steep gradients and downhill turns.
